With operations based in Georgia, Computer Source Inc. is dedicated to providing computer services with top quality products, specializing in computer service, repairs, upgrades, custom building, hardware, accessories and networking for residential and commercial.
Computer Source was established in 1999 by Ray and Ann Smith with a goal to reduce the digital divide (the gap that exit between those with access to computers and related technology and those without access to these same technologies). Mr. & Mrs. Smith noticed that many low to moderate income families lacked exposure to computers and the associated technologies primarily among Atlantas disadvantage youth and young adult population. They recognized that in their community there was even less knowledge about computers and they decided to do something about the problem. Computer Source quietly but effectively made positive changes to their community by helping reduce the digital divide by providing access to computers at a low-price, but high quality to individuals and families who could not ordinarily afford the market prices. Computer subscribed to a philosophy that disadvantaged persons can effectively and successfully own a computer and operate in a technological sophisticated environment.
Computer Source, Inc. is experiencing exponential growth but we realize there is still much much more to be achieved. We will continue to take the initiative, plus plenty of focused thinking, hard work and continued persistence to help make a brighter future for our children and our communities by continuing to make available the latest hardware and software at a reduced cost to help better prepare students, families and our communities for the technologically driven global economy of the 21st Century.
